Born 6/9/1942 Middlesbrough, Yorkshire, England. A Western film fan from earliest recollection. Started singing & playing guitar, seriously, aged 15! Initially inspired by Lonnie Donegan, Earliest performing experience playing rhythm Banjo in Jazz bands, followed by contribution to several Bluegrass & Old Time Country bands playing variously 5-string Banjo; Fiddle; Guitar; Mandolin; Dobro; Autoharp; Dulcimer; Harmonica and Upright Bass. Unfortunately, performance time usually limits his versatility to accompaniments on 6 & 12 string Guitars; Long- Necked 5-string Banjo.
