The YAMPA VALLEY BOYS, Steve Jones and John Fisher, were finalists for the 2010 WMA Outstanding Entertainers, Duo, Award and the 2007 and 2009 Crescendo Award. Twelve years, 1,600 shows and seven CD recordings later, they still form an instant bond with audiences, young and old, with their friendly, interactive presentation of western music. Steve, a/k/a the Irish tenor of cowboy music, is a singer-songwriter and plays guitar. He has received many great reviews for his tenor vocals. John plays a lot of hot licks on the banjo and resophonic guitar and does some vocals. They also include poetry and humor in their shows.
