Latigo

A new Western Folk Art Sound is emanating from South Central Utah in the heart of the American West. The Sound belongs to LATIGO – a new Western Folk Trio. Three masters of the genre with 30 plus years of individual musical experience have come together blending their unique individual artistry into fresh interpretations of old and new western style music with an authentic local flair. Their focus is on the best of the human values that have been indelibly embodied in the “American West”.

Mike Lopez

A true Americana/Roots/Folk sound from the West. California native, Mike Lopez, writes original timeless songs that reflect his surroundings. Mike was born and raised in Santa Barbara, California. Part Native American, Chumash of the Kalawashaq Village, he embraces the multicultural aspects of his deep roots. His multi-faceted background is clearly reflected in his songwriting. Mike has created a wonderful way of telling stories through his original songs. An original sound of true Americana with a dash of red hot chili!
